Today I went to the doctor and on my way home I stopped and took pictures of blossoms and it felt so good. I forgot how great it is to hold my camera and just capture those moments.
I've missed it. I can't miss it anymore...

I've been trying to find the best things for our little house these past few weeks and I have to say it's pretty difficult, not because I don't find anything but I find too many cute & beautiful stuff that would look just lovely & perfect in certain rooms.

Nous sommes en train de regarder les accessoires/meubles/décorations pour notre petite maison mais ce n'est pas facile: tout est beau, ou du moins une grande partie de ces choses iraient bien dans une pièce ou une autre. Ce qui est bien, c'est que nous savons exactement ce que nous ne voulons pas, donc ça élimine aussi beaucoup de produits (par ex. le plastique qui n'est pas si bon pour l'environnement et qui ne donne pas le même effet que du bois ou métal).
Nous essayons de choisir des objets pratiques mais jolis, nous regardons aussi beaucoup les couleurs pour que tout aille ensemble. Nous espérons trouver tout assez vite afin de se sentir plus à l'aise dans notre petit nid. Encore un peu de patience et de courage donc!

We (mostly Patricia) are looking for accessories/furniture/decoration for our little home but it's not an easy task: everything looks beautiful or at least most of the things we find would look great in one room or another. What's really great is that we know exactly what we don't want, so it eliminates lots of products (plastic especially = not good for the environment & often doesn't look as good as wood or metal).
We're trying to choose practical but pretty objets, we're very careful about the colors too so everything goes well together. We hope to find everything we need as soon as possible to feel more comfortable in our little nest. Just a little more patience and courage, then!
Wij (meestal Patricia) zijn op zoek naar accessoires/meubelen/decoratie voor ons kleine huisje, maar het is geen gemakkelijke taak: alles ziet er prachtig uit of althans de meeste dingen die we zoeken zien er geweldig uit in een kamer of een andere. Wat echt handig is, is dat we precies weten wat we niet willen, dus veel producten vallen af (zoals plastic = niet echt goed voor het milieu en ziet er vaak niet zo goed uit als hout of metaal). We proberen praktisch, maar mooie dingen te kiezen, we zijn ook zeer voorzichtig met de kleuren zo dat alles goed bij elkaar gaat. We hopen dat we alles wat we nodig hebben zo spoedig mogelijk vinden want we willen ons beter in ons nestje voelen. Net een beetje meer geduld en moed!
My Mom is the best. I miss her so much, especially today as it's her special day.
She called me earlier because she thought P & I were on our way to see her as a surprise like we did last year for her 50th birthday. It made me laugh so much, this was soooo adorable!

I watched this movie tonight and it is so beautiful: the emotions shown are wonderful and it's a true love story for a family and for amazing people. The characters are so well-played and the plot is adorable with great funny moments.

I was so pleased yesterday when Peter announced me that he didn't have to go to Holland for 3 days & 2 nights. It's so much better to be cuddling with him in our big couch and just enjoy each other's company.
When we moved to Gent in 2007, we received a map of all the pubs there and BabyLuv & I decided that we'd go to all of them. Unfortunately the map teared when I tried to move it to another wall and I had to throw it away.
Early November 2009, I got a new similar map but it pointed all the Gentse restaurants! This was just perfect because we adore going to the restaurant. So we decided to try every restaurant in town. What a challenge! We're on the right track already and we still go to our favorite places often but we like to try a different one now and then.

We always go to the center to eat out and even if I love it, I wanted to get to know what was in our neighborhood. I thought there were not too many restaurants but there are! some are a little hidden, some are visible from the street. There were three that I heard of and wanted to try out.
We chose tonight to go to the closest one called A Capella. I love the name, it's so pretty.
We weren't sure at first if it was a tea-room or a café or a restaurant. We went there by foot, what a privilege! We entered and it was like entering in a time machine: there are beautiful paintings from a local artist, decoration from the 70s, wooden chairs, big windows and a lovely garden/terrace.
We chose to eat in the tiny corner next to the garden, it felt comfy at once.
The service was nice though we had to wait a bit long. We chose an entrée and a main course. Peter had smoked ham and salmon and pasta with shrimps and I had some fish pâté and gratin with its vegetables. It was pretty good but they put celery in the vegetables and I get sick when I eat any.

Carnaval was super nice and I had a lot of fun.
P. had so much fun dancing around and being with his friends.
I really enjoyed all the nice colors put into the costumes.
And the sun was so niiice to us.
I remember listening to the entire album of The Temper Trap many many times, but I forgot how beautiful the songs were.
I just found Love Lost again on tumblr. and kept listening to it the entire day.
Music is really something.
We witnessed an amazing sunset tonight!
The sky was so beautiful.
The clouds were drawing their way into the atmosphere.
The sun disappeared from our view and left the sky a deep ocean blue.
